# Connect Lever

Lever is an ATS integration that syncs candidate, offer, and compensation data to Pave via OAuth.

## Before you connect

* You must be a **Lever Super Admin** to authorize the connection.
* Offers must be created through Lever's offer module. If your company sends offers through another system, that data will not sync to Pave.

## Connect Lever to Pave


1. In Pave, go to **Connections** and find Lever.
2. Click **Authorize**. You will be redirected to Lever.
3. Make sure you are logged in as a Lever Super Admin.
4. Review the permissions Pave is requesting and approve the connection.
5. You will be redirected back to Pave. Go to **Connections** and verify the Lever integration shows as connected.

## Troubleshooting

**Connection shows a 403 error** This typically means a Postings API key was used instead of a Lever API key. Reconnect using the OAuth flow as a Lever Super Admin.

**Connection shows an error after working previously** Lever requires re-authentication after one year as a security measure. When credentials expire, the integration enters an error state. Go to **Connections**, find Lever, and click **Resolve** to re-authorize.

**No offers appear after connecting** Pave only syncs offers created through Lever's offer module. If your team sends offers through a different system, those offers will not appear in Pave.

**Some candidates are missing** Pave requires a valid email address for each candidate. Candidates without an email are excluded. Pave also requires at least one compensation entry per offer. A recruiter must be assigned to the opportunity for the offer to sync.

## After you connect

Pave polls Lever frequently for new and updated offers. Changes typically appear within a few minutes. Deletions sync during a nightly batch job. There is also a **Refresh data** option available on the Lever connection card in Pave if you need to trigger a manual sync.

* Email address
* First name, last name
* LinkedIn URL

**Offer and job fields**

* Job title
* Start date
* Offer status
* Offer date
* Offer ID
* Recruiter name, recruiter email
* Hiring manager
* Currency

**Compensation fields**

* Salary (base pay, annualized based on pay interval)
* Signing bonus
* Annual bonus
* General bonus
* Relocation bonus
* Equity: options and RSUs (share count)
