Connect Schwab

Schwab is an equity management integration that syncs grant data to Pave via SFTP. You generate three reports in Schwab and transfer them to a Pave hosted server, where they are processed automatically.

Before you connect

• You need access to reporting in Schwab's equity plan portal.
• Work with your Pave account team to get your SFTP set up before transferring files.

Connect Schwab to Pave

1. In Schwab, generate the following reports:
   • Grant report: includes award details (Award ID, Award Type, Award Date, Award Amount, Participant ID, and share balances)
   • Vesting Schedule report: includes vest dates and share amounts for options (ISOs and NQSOs)
   • Lapse Schedule report: includes lapse dates and share amounts for RSUs and RSAs
2. Export each report as CSV. Do not apply date filters to the reports, as filtering may cause incomplete vesting data.
3. Transfer the three report files to the Pave hosted server using your SFTP credentials.
4. In Pave, go to Connections, find Schwab, and click Submit.

To update equity data, generate new reports from Schwab and transfer them to the SFTP server. Files are processed automatically on arrival.

Troubleshooting

No data appears after transferring files All three reports are required: the Grant report, the Vesting Schedule report, and the Lapse Schedule report. If any report is missing, the data cannot be processed.

Data is missing or incomplete Verify that the reports were exported without date filters. Applying date filters can cause incomplete vesting data in Pave.

• Employee ID
• Grant ID
• Grant date
• Grant type
• Share count (awarded, outstanding, unvested, cancelled, forfeited)
• Vesting start date, vesting schedule
• Currency (may require mapping)
