[Legacy] Generate Bands for New Jobs in Your Job Architecture

Generate bands for jobs in pay zones that have been created in your organization that don’t have bands in this band set.

• After adding new jobs or pay zones in the Job Manager, navigate to the Market Pricing tool and open any live, merit, or draft band set. You’ll see a banner that there are jobs in pay zones in your job architecture that do not have bands in this band set.  

• If you dismiss the alert, you can access this alert at any time from megaphone at the top of the page  

• By selecting “Review,” you can review jobs in pay zones not in this band set and select which ones you want to generate bands for via the “Create bands from your jobs” modal

     *If you select some jobs from this list, we’ll just generate bands for those selected jobs.*

    *If you don’t select any jobs from this list, all of these jobs will have bands generated*

    *These jobs in this list represent the jobs you’ve specified exist in each pay zone that don’t have bands in this band set, or if all jobs exist, the combination of all jobs and pay zones that don’t have bands in this band set.*

  You can generate bands from Market Data or by CSV upload.

   CSV Upload:

  • By selecting “Upload Bands,” you can upload the band values directly by using the template provided in “Download CSV,” then upload.  
  • This template will include the list of all jobs in pay zones not in the band set *In the CSV download, jobs in relative pay zones will include band values based on the relative pay zone differential if the primary pay zone value is present in the band set.*
