*Employee distribution on bands and viewing unmatched employees is not currently supported in merit cycle band sets*
Understanding unmatched employees
This unmatched employee modal will help you understand which employees are not matching to bands. There are several ways an employee might not match to a band. These are:
- Employee not matched to a job
- Employee not matched to a pay zone
- Employee matched to a job and pay zone but not a band
Matching employees to jobs
*If Company Job Match column is empty, the employee is not matching to a job in the Jobs tab, likely because the employee’s HRIS matchers do not match to a job’s HRIS matchers*
- Navigate to the Jobs Manager
- Click the job that requires matching and resolve any errors in the jobs pop out that populates.
*If no job is present in the Job Manager, create a new job with that HRIS matcher information. Read more on how to add jobs using the Job Manager*
Matching employees to a pay zone
*If Pay Zone Match column is empty, the employee is not matching to a pay zone in the Jobs Manager, most likely due to a missing location. Read more about managing your Pay Zones*
- Navigate to the Jobs Manager
- Click Pay Zones
- Click Edit in the Pay Zones pop out.
4. Edit the existing Pay Zone matcher rules to include the employee’s city/metro/country. Update the integration data so the employee data matches the pay zone rules, or create a new pay zone with those rules.
Matching employees to a band
*If the employee is matching to a job and pay zone in the Company Job Match & Pay Zone Match columns, then there is no band present in the band set with that job and pay zone combination. Use the band set alerts to create a new band for this job and pay zone*
- Navigate to Market Pricing
- Click the band set your are editing
- Click the Band Sets Alert create a new band for this job and pay zone
