# Connect Shareworks

Shareworks is an equity management integration that syncs grant data to Pave via scheduled SFTP report delivery. Setup requires coordination with your Pave team for SFTP credentials.

## Before you connect

* You need **company admin** access in Shareworks.
* You need access to the **Export Destinations** and **Reports** tools. If you do not have access to Export Destinations, contact your Shareworks relationship manager.

## Connect Shareworks to Pave

**Step 1: Create the report**


1. In Pave, go to **Connections** and find Shareworks SFTP. Download the **Report Definition File** (a JSON file).
2. In Shareworks, go to **Reports** on the top toolbar.
3. Select **More Actions > Import Report Definitions** and upload the JSON file you downloaded.
4. Click **Process**.
5. Verify that the report **Pave Integrations Employee Grant Report** now appears in your report list.

**Step 2: Add Pave as a destination**


1. In Shareworks, go to **Tools** on the top toolbar.
2. Select **Export Destinations > Add Destination**.
3. Enter the following SFTP details:
   * Name: **Pave**
   * Export Method: **Secure FTP**
   * Server Address: **34.70.99.197**
   * Port: **22**
   * Authentication Type: **Password Based**
   * Username and password: your Pave team will provide these
4. Save the destination.

**Step 3: Schedule the report**


1. In Shareworks, go to **Reports > More Actions > Schedule This Report**.
2. Under General, set:
   * Report: the report you created in Step 1
   * Name: for example, "Pave Shareworks Report"
3. Under Run Frequency, set **Monthly** with a run time of **6 AM EST**.
4. Under Parameters, set Employees to **All Employees** and Grants to **All Grants**.
5. Under File Format and Delivery:
   * Format: **Delimiter Separated Values**
   * Delimiter: **comma**
   * Generate first table only: **Yes**
   * Deliver to: **SFTP**
   * SFTP Server: select the **Pave** destination you created in Step 2
6. Save the schedule.
7. In Pave, go to **Connections**, find Shareworks SFTP, and click **Submit**.

## Troubleshooting

**SFTP report not syncing** Verify that the report schedule is active in Shareworks and that the Pave SFTP destination was saved correctly. Confirm that the username and password provided by your Pave team were entered accurately.

**No data appears after first sync** Data will arrive on the next scheduled delivery date. If you set the report to monthly, it may take up to a month for the first data to appear.

* Currency (may require mapping)
