Connect Rippling

Rippling is an HRIS integration that syncs employee, job, and compensation data to Pave via OAuth.

Before you connect

• You must be a Rippling Admin to authorize the connection.
• During setup, you will create an employee group in Rippling. This group controls which employees' data syncs to Pave. It does not control who has access to Pave.

Connect Rippling to Pave

1. In Pave, go to Connections and find Rippling.
2. Click Authorize. You will be redirected to Rippling. Make sure you are logged in as a Rippling Admin.
3. Rippling displays the employee data Pave will access. Review the permissions, scroll to the bottom, and click Authorize.
4. Click Assign a group, then select the Create a group tab.
   • Enter a name for the group (for example, "Employees").
   • Under "Include", select Everyone at the organization.
   • Set the Include contractors toggle to No.
   • Click Preview people to verify who will be included.
   • Click Continue.
5. On the "Configure attributes" screen, keep the default priority and click Assign.
6. Click Continue, then click Authorize to complete the connection. You will be redirected back to Pave.
7. In Pave, go to Connections and verify the Rippling integration shows as In sync.

Troubleshooting

No data appears after connecting Rippling may take up to three minutes to make employee data available after authorization. Pave retries automatically during this period. If data still does not appear after a few minutes, try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration.

Connection shows as inaccessible The authorization flow may not have completed. Go to Connections, find Rippling, and click Authorize to restart the process.

Data is missing or incomplete Check your Rippling employee group to make sure it includes the right people. The group you created during setup controls which employees sync. If specific fields are missing, check that Pave has the required data permissions in Rippling (see the scopes listed during authorization).

• Target annual bonus, target annual bonus percent

Additional data

• Compensation history: Not supported. Pave syncs current compensation only.
• Custom fields: Not supported. Pave syncs a fixed set of fields from Rippling.
• Benefits: Not supported.
