Create a new survey data source
To create a new survey data source:
-
Go to Market Pricing > Band Set > Benchmarking > Data Sources
-
Click Upload survey
-
Select the survey file from your computer
-
Map the relevant columns in the survey file to Pave's properties and click Next
-
Fix any errors and Save
-
Add a descriptive Survey name and choose a Survey provider
-
The value in Survey provider will be used as the column header when mapping job families, job levels, pay zones, and overrides. This value can be any string, but we recommend using a consistent naming convention for similar surveys to simplify the mapping process (e.g.
RadfordorWTW). This value has no impact on the parsing of data slices from the survey upload. -
Optional: Use Tags for easy filtering/searching from the surveys list later (e.g.
United States) -
Optional: Use Survey effective date if you plan to age your survey data
-
-
Save the survey. Pave will immediately begin processing the survey data. Once complete, you will receive a notification and the data is ready for use.
