Pave has worked with hundreds of customers on their compensation bands — using them in merit cycles, putting them in Total Rewards statements and sharing them with Finance/Exces/Recruiters/Execs. +/- 10% is the most common pattern we’ve seen amongst these customers. Note that the band width adds and subtracts 10% from the midpoint, so the recommended band width is 20% (i.e. 2 * 10%%).
