Up until this point, your bands and how your employees map to them is a “draft”. To finalize & publish your bands to be shared with your organization (Recruiters, Finance, manager, etc.), you’ll need to update your HRIS with the family, level and payzone information you confirmed on the “Employees” tab.
Do not finalize your bands until you have confirmed all employees are mapped to the correct family, level and payzone on the Employees tab.
To update your HRIS select “Update HRIS & Publish” at which point you’ll receive instructions on how to update your HRIS & then ensure those mappings power your new band set.
Update your HRIS
The CSV to download includes each employees name, email address, family, level & payzone.
Note: If you return to previous steps and make changes to your bands or employees, you’ll need to download this CSV again to view the latest information.
Use this download to bulk upload your HRIS with this data. You can either:
- Map Level to:
- Your HRIS’s
Level
(or equivalent) field; or if you are already using Level and do not want to override that field - Create a new field called
band.level
- Your HRIS’s
- Map Job Family to:
- Your HRIS’s
Department
(or equivalent) field; or if you are already using Department and do not want to override that field - Create a new field called
band.family
- Your HRIS’s
- Map Payzone to:
- Your HRIS’s
Work Location
(or equivalent) field; or if you are already using Level and do not want to override that field - Create a new field called
band.payzone
- Your HRIS’s
Use your HRIS bulk upload feature to populate the level, family & payzone fields using the CSV download.
