When is the option to pay for Option Impact data being shut down?
We plan to shut down the pay for Option Impact data product on 06/15/2023.
When will I have access to Option Impact data until?
You will have access to the Option Impact data in Advanced-HR until your contract expiry date. Any contracts up for renewal beginning 06/16/2023 and after will not have the option to renew. To maintain access to Option Impact data after your contract expiration date, you will either need to submit an Option Impact survey or integrate with Pave.
When is the last day to submit a survey?
We will continue to accept Option Impact survey submissions through 09/30/2023. Any surveys submitted past 07/03/2023, will grant you access to view Option Impact data in the Option Impact product only until 01/03/2024 - not the full 6-month term. Beginning on 01/03/2024, the data will only be viewable as part of the Pave dataset.
What is the overall timeline I need to be aware of?

How do I sign up for Pave as an Option Impact user?
To sign up for Pave, navigate to this link and you'll be walked through the sign up flow. You will need to sign up for Pave in order to access the Pave dataset, which is inclusive of up-to-date OI survey data. You will not automatically have a Pave account created for you as an Option Impact user.
Will all Option Impact data be available in Pave?
Option Impact US, UK, and Canadian data is already available in Pave Benchmarking. Once you integrate with Pave and access the Benchmarking dataset, you are given the option to search for a benchmark using 3 data source options: Pave, Option Impact, or Combined (Pave + Option Impact). Beginning in August, the only way to search Option Impact data will be through the Combined (Pave + Option Impact) data source option. Option Impact data will remain a part of the holistic Benchmarking dataset until at least 01/03/2024, and potentially longer, as long as the data quality is up to standard.
Option Impact data outside of US, UK, and Canada data is not available in Pave today.
How can I access Option Impact data in Pave?
Once you integrate with Pave, you will be able to access the Benchmarking dataset.
For Employee Compensation Benchmarking, as you are completing a search you will be prompted with 3 data source options: Pave, Option Impact, or you can select both for a Combined data set. If you would like to access Option Impact data, then you would select either Option Impact or the Combined data sources. Note: beginning in August, the only way to search Option Impact data will be through the Combined data source.
I use Option Impact for their international data, what international locations does Pave have in the Benchmarking dataset? Will Pave add more international locations?
Benchmarking currently has US, UK, and Canadian data, though increasing international coverage is a big focus for Pave. We are launching a new product called Location Insights in June. Location Insights allows you to identify location differentials across cities and countries to build international compensation programs. Interested in learning more? How do I integrate with Pave?
Check out this article for more information on the integration process with Pave.
What if I am not able to integrate with Pave?
Similar to other compensation benchmarking surveys, Pave operates on a give-to-get model. The key difference with Pave, is that data is shared via real-time HR integrations rather than an annual process of manual data entry. In order to ensure 100% real-time data, Pave requires that participating companies opt-in to the data network by integrating their HRIS and/or Cap Table systems.
