How to Benchmark Employee Compensation
- Navigate to the Benchmarking page in Pave, then to the Employee Compensation tab within Benchmarking
- Search and select a job title or family
- Select one of the following leveling frameworks:
- Blended: More applicable for early-stage companies with broader levels and responsibilities
- Detailed: More applicable for later-stage companies with granular levels and responsibilities
- Select a job level
- Our Job Leveling Chart (which you can download below) will provide you with more information about our job leveling framework
- Select the location you wish to benchmark against using one of the following filters:
- US
- Market
- All US locations
- Tier 1: SF/Bay Area, Seattle, Los Angeles, NYC
- Tier 2: Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington DC, San Diego
- Tier 3: Other US metros
- Metro
- San Francisco Bay Area
- New York Metro Area
- Los Angeles Metro Area
- Boston Metro Area
- Austin Metro Area
- Seattle Metro Area
- Europe
- Canada
- Select the companies you want to benchmark against using one of the following company stage filters:
- All Data
- Capital Raised
- Valuation Range
- Number of Employees
- Select one or more compensation types that apply
- Select Pave or Option Impact as your data source, or both
- Click the Get Benchmarking Data button
