Tabs
Here are details of how the tab numbers for each section are calculated:
Types |
Details |
Equity (Options, RSUs, etc.) |
The sum of equity is calculated by taking the total number of shares that are vesting in the next 365 days and multiplying that by share price that the equity slider is currently on. * For Options, ISOs, and NSOs we also subtract the exercise price from this number. * For Common Stock, RSUs, and RSAs we do not subtract the exercise price from this number. * If the portal is set to Gross Equity we also do not subtract the exercise price from this number. |
Salary |
The salary number is taken from the latest salary update the person has been awarded. In 2022, if we have the following salary items in the user’s data: 2019-09-22: $100,000 2021-03-02: $120,000 2021-09-20: $125,000 $125,000 is the value that will be used. |
Bonus |
We do not count basic Bonuses towards the user’s total compensation unless they contain no targets. If the Bonus contains no target payouts then the bonuses for that year are summed together and this total number is used. E.g. 2021-09-22: $10,000 2022-03-02: $12,000 2023-09-20: $15,000 Equates a total bonus value of $27,000. |
Variable Pay |
We do not count Variable Pay towards the user’s total compensation unless it is a target. If the Variable Pay is classified as a target the Variable Pay will be included into the user’s total compensation in the same way we do salary. |
Benefits |
The benefit number is the total sum of all the benefit values the user has access to. |
