How does Option Impacts job architecture map to Pave’s? Will that result in a change to the data represented?
Option Impact's job architecture in most cases maps 1:1 to with Pave's architecture. There are some limited cases wherein we are not able to map data from Option Impact into Pave's architecture and in some cases we only map into our blended families. For most searches, users should not see any impact in their results due to job architecture changes.
I ran the same search in Pave and Option Impact, both using OI data and see different numbers. Why?
There are two main reasons:
- Different contributing companies. While Pave and Option Impact share ~1000 customers, the other 2000 companies that make up each respective dataset are different, leading to different figures on market compensation.
- Realtime vs Survey data. Pave's data is pulled from the source of truth for compensation (the HRIS / payroll system) vs Option Impact's once every six month salary survey. In a competitive, inflationary market this means that Pave's data often is higher than Option Impact's.
Can I still access OI’s international data inside Pave?
For the time being, Pave offers benchmarking data in the US and the UK. We have plans to release additional European benchmarking data later this year, with additional regions to come. If you are looking for benchmarking data outside of the US and the UK, you'll still have access to the Option Impact app.
